Company Director and Store Manager

With a glittering 30 year career in lighting and an impressive retail history, Andrew leads the team at Lights On Broadway. Our store was opened with the aim to support the growing Wimborne area with a range of beautiful, modern lighting - as well as stocking a wide range of bulbs and tubes available at a customer's convenience. Andrew is proud to have a team of expertly trained lighting specialists to help him serve the area. The mission of the business has always been to deliver affordable quality lighting twinned with an excellent service and Andrew is passionate that this ethos is felt by each and every customer. Statistically the average household buys a light fitting or changes their lighting design once every 7 years, at Lights On Broadway we understand that because of this fact lighting can be a major investment for a customer, so ensuring our clients are happy with their items is of paramount importance. 

Andrew is a massive football fan and has been a season ticket holder at Fratton Park for too many years! He has also recently discovered a love for running, and is out and about most nights on one of his favoured routes.

Sales Director

Ollie has been in the lighting industry for more than a decade now and it is his pleasure to lead our fantastic sales team. Ollie has had a vast experience and has operated in various areas of our company, from travelling the country as a Sales Representative to opening our lighting showroom in Portsmouth. Within the business, Ollie is the driving force behind our new innovative designs and product technology. Ollie has recently been instrumental in the development of our fittings that use Alexa voice control in order to dim, turn on and off isolated lights within the home. He has also been working to incorporate the use of Google Home into domestic lighting. Oliver's impressive lighting knowledge means that there is almost always a solution to whatever it is that you might need assistance with, be it a vaulted ceiling, advice on the wiring of your kitchen, or simply the look and feel of a decorative bulb.

Ollie has a Geography degree, and away from the lights he is a keen golfer and spends every spare moment perfecting his swing - usually on Broadstone's golf course.

Sales Manager

Tom has been with the company since 2018 and is usually the first port of call for our customer queries at our Wimborne showroom. In the 5 years he has spent with us, Tom has been influential in the success of the business and the serving of our customers in Wimborne. Tom's time at the company has allowed him to develop his personal understanding of the industry we operate in and the challenges we face. Tom oversees the shipment of all orders for clients and has had the pleasure of travelling to the locations of our various suppliers across the globe as far as Hong Kong and as close to home as Warwickshire to oversee a number of our production lines. The recent opening of a facility in Worcestershire has allowed us to be able to house our continental lighting designs within the UK, which is a massive plus point in terms of sourcing and delivery times to our clients.

Tom is a massive football fan and can either be found watching or playing it in his spare time, he is a keen swimmer and also studied Spanish and Global Politics before joining us.
